Taxi or train

I don't know your exact hotel but the train (metro) is very simple from the Copenhagen airport. You basically walk outside and there's the platform. Contact your hotel and ask what station to get off. We stayed near Nyhavn and used the train every day.

We took a cab from the port back to the airport and it was super easy and quick. I didn't take the train because I was going to have to do a switch and the train wasn't a straight shot and we had to catch a flight.

If you're going to be doing things in Copenhagen (museums, etc.), look into the Copenhagen Card. It includes the local trains and buses and can be purchased at the airport. It's about a five minute walk from the main train station (Koebenhavn H) to the Scandic and easy to do with wheeled luggage.

The Scandic Copenhagen is very near the main terminal in Copenhagen, Maybe a few blocks away. It should be an easy train trip from the airport. You have to take a cab to get to the pier. From the same area it cost us, if I remember correctly, about US$25, around DKr170. We used a credit card.
