Rare dctravel Posted November 19, 2016 #3 Share Posted November 19, 2016 Without buying an internet package, the Royal IQ app lets you look and ship events, make show and dinner reservations, and create a daily schedule for yourself. setsail Posted November 19, 2016 #4 Share Posted November 19, 2016 It also requires you to carry your phone around all day, and people didn't know how to carry a sea pass card around. What's next, cell phones on a lanyard:p
shelby101999 Posted November 19, 2016 #5 Share Posted November 19, 2016 It is also your own personal calendar. So if you prebooked shows and dinner reservations they show up on the app once you board the ship. Also shows any excursions as well. The calendar feature is what I used the most. Rare dctravel Posted November 19, 2016 #6 Share Posted November 19, 2016 If you are carrying your phone around, make sure to put it in airplane mode (and then turn on wifi to access the app). Nothing worse than roaming charges by accident. Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app

Bookster99 Posted November 19, 2016 #8 Share Posted November 19, 2016 That's cool. I carry my phone anyway for pictures. In Airplane mode, yes.
Rare dctravel Posted November 19, 2016 #9 Share Posted November 19, 2016 That's cool. I carry my phone anyway for pictures. In Airplane mode, yes. I do the same things! Just wanted to point that out, as some people have been known to leave the phone in regular mode. An after vacation surprise I wouldn't want.
