Hilton garden in ridgeway nj

We have booked the Hilton Garden for our group of 8 for our January cruise out of Manhattan. Our TA has scheduled transportation to and from port with hotel.

Was hoping to hear from previous cruisers that have stayed here about their experience with the transportation through the hotel. Did it go smoothly? Did you confirm prior to the day of check in that transportation was scheduled? Was the ride waiting for you when you debarked or did you have to call?

With a group of 8, I know it's more challenging to get a ride together but we were hoping that the hotel would arrange a shuttle type van.

We used them in September and had a great experience. When you arrive they will ask you what time you want to leave for the cruise terminal and what time you wish to be picked up upon return. They will also give you the phone number for the car service so that you can communicate with them regarding any timing changes. They were pleasant and helpful.

We stayed at this hotel in June 2016. It worked out great. Nice hotel, nice service, and a good hot breakfast before leaving. We left our car there for 7 days. Still there when we got back. Paid about $220 for one night stay, round trip transportation, and parking.

 

Only issue we had was when coming back we called to meet driver at a certain location but understanding each other was a challenge. We were calling on a noisy street and our Minnesota accent and the drivers Asian accent made communicating difficult.
