We are considering a Med cruise next year on the Epic. We normally book a balcony (BC or BD) but are thinking about a mini-suite (MB or MC). What's the difference between the two ?

Here are 2 great links on Epic Balcony Cabin:

Epic "hull" cabin info: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1522322

Epic uncovered balcony info: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1523109

With the wave design of the cabin you also may want to consider if you want the bed by the balcony or by the door. Everyone has their personal preferences

The mini suite is longer with more storage (drawers under the vanity, extra closet). If the bed is by the balcony, you will have a tub/shower-a very high tub. Beds by the door have showers-only that are quite a bit longer than balcony cabin showers. We really noticed the difference when we had 11 nights in a mini suite then moved to a regular balcony for 3 nights. For transatlantics, we book mini suites. Insides work for us on short cruises (
