Parasailing

I'm not sure where this question belongs......sorry if it's in the wrong place.

 

I'm wondering what kind of weight limit there is on parasailing. My 17 ( 2 1/2 months shy of 18) year old DD wants to give it a try but she only weighs about 100 lbs. Will they make her do it tandem or can she still do it on her own?

I've only parasailed once and that was when we cruised to St. Maarten.

 

At the locations we visited, everyone had to parasail in tandem. Hope your DD gets to enjoy the experience .... what a great ride!

My daughter, who is 4'11" and weighs about 100, parasailed alone in Aruba.

I am going parasailing for the first time in Cozumel this may. The minimum weight with the company I am using is 70 lbs. I don't image it would be much different anywhere else. Hope she has fun.

I have been parasailing many times. The weight limitations vary by weather/wind conditions. I've been parasailing in San Diego with my children, and they had to go tandem. We've also been parasailing in Cozumel where the kids got to go individually. It is a blast I hope you all have fun!

What's a typical maximum weight, for tandem rides? I know they vary, but I'm just looking for a general idea.

I'm not sure what the maximum weight is, but I went up with a friend. We were over 400lbs together and it was not a problem.
