copenhagen hotels

Planning cruise of Baltic next summer and will depart from Copenhagen. Can anyone suggest a decent hotel for one or two nights pre-cruise that is fairly close to sightseeing and cruise port? Any information on this area is appreciated.

Unfortunately, the city center where you'll want to stay and the port that your ship leaves from are far from each other. About a $30. taxi ride.

 

For hotels, the SAS Radisson is very nice. They were fully booked when we tried to make a last minute resy. We ended up at the Hotel Vesterbro. It's a decent 3 star hotel, nothing special. The rooms are small, the breakfast is good and the location is very good - about 3 blocks from Tivoli Gardens.

Hi Jane:

There are two Radisson hotels in Copenhagen. One is called Radisson SAS Royal and the other is Radisson SAS Scandinavia. Which one were you recommending?
