phabric Posted December 4, 2016 #1 Share Posted December 4, 2016 (edited) I have also posted on the Canada thread which is not very active. I will be in Victoria Sat August 5 on the Emerald, docked 7pm-11:59pm. A solo passenger. I have been to Butchart Gardens before. I was looking at Princess tours - YYJ-110 - Double decker city highlights tour - 8pm-9:30pm - $49.95 or YYJ-120 - Victoria by horse drawn trolley - 8pm-9pm- $59.95 Has anybody taken either of these tours? Or, any other suggestions? Edited December 4, 2016 by phabric

Cruiserkenn Posted December 4, 2016 #3 Share Posted December 4, 2016 The Craigdarroch Castle tour is a nice one, for history and old style classic architecture. Wonderful woodwork. Fantastic!
towhee Posted December 5, 2016 #4 Share Posted December 5, 2016 (edited) We did the Double Decker tour and had a good time. A lot depends upon the driver/narrator about what is mentioned although it seems that they have a script that they are supposed to follow. There's Orca Whale Watching either through the cruise line or a private vendor that is near the Empress Hotel. If you're a walker, we did a walking tour one year. Remember it is light late in August. Another year we did Victoria Highlights. Edited December 5, 2016 by towhee
