Reflection December 10

The Princess and I are aboard the Reflection now. Very rough seas last night from Miami and this morning (Dec.11). Some rain during Captain's Club tonight in the Sky Lounge but still a very nice day. Our team easily won the afternoon trivia!

Great dinner tonight in the Lawn Club Grill. We both had the Rib Eye steak. Huge portions but delicious. The sides are great, too. Some people ordered the starter course of flatbreads which are basically pizzas but just too much food!! The warm chocolate chip cookie with ice cream was a perfect dessert.

It is San Juan tomorrow afternoon and evening. Princess and I are planning a cab ride to the fortress. It was built by the same architect in the mid-1500's as the Castillo San Marcos in St. Augustine, Florida.

I was also on The Reflection last week. The Princess and I decided that 7 days was just too short and decided to do both the Western and Eastern Caribbean cruises back to back.

I really loved Labadee and swimming with the stingrays at Grand Cayman is always amazing!

We did a ****'s tour as we had lots of shipboard credit to spend. We took the deluxe tour and have done the regular tour in the past. Save some $$$$ and stick to the regular tour. The only difference between the 2 tours was the time they departed and the cost! Length of both tours the same, as are the actual experience. We were told by shore excursion staff that deluxe included an open bar---but it did not. Boat simply had a bar on it where you could PURCHASE drinks. However, whichever tour you take, both will give you an awesome stingray city experience.
