Colo Cruiser Posted December 13, 2016 #26 Share Posted December 13, 2016 (edited) I hear that some ships like the Ruby do not have tables for 10. Sure they do. Except TG as stated. Edited December 13, 2016 by Colo Cruiser
Rare 4cats4me Posted December 13, 2016 #27 Share Posted December 13, 2016 (edited) Thank you! Is the ATD 2nd seating at 7:30pm? Did you try for an earlier time like 5:30pm and not able to get it? One of the anytime dining rooms opens up at 7:30 for anytime diners. That dining room is for overflow traditional early diners, So there is one dedicated AT dining room which opens around 5:00, one traditional dining room which opens early for 1st and 2nd traditional dining AND one dining room which is traditional overflow For the 1st seating and ANYTIME only dining from 7:30 on Once open, it was never a problem getting a table except we noticed on formal night it was crowded. We were informed we could hold onto the table for the remainder of the cruise. We noticed many others who had chosen that option as well, so it was akin to a second seating traditional dining experience, because it was the same people at their respective tables ever night. We were a party of two seated at a four-top. This was on the Grand. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Edited December 13, 2016 by 4cats4me

If you are not sure......... The MD always meets with passengers on embarkation day for these types of requests. The meeting place/time is noted in the Patter on the first day and is usually held in one of the DR's between 2pm and 3:30pm. He had the power! Traditional Seating is 5:30pm, then AnyTime Dining is 7:45-10pm.
