New to Cunard - Stateroom help

We have completed almost 30 cruises and are looking to book our first with Cunard on the Queen Victoria

Have stateroom 1083 on hold - the deck plan is just a little confusing

We are looking for a quiet location but for a 21 day cruise 1083 is the only option

Stateroom 1070 is free for all 3 of the 7 day cruises - maybe Cunard would consider this as an option

There seems to be possibly crew access areas opposite

Any help would be greatly appreciated

It's usually pretty quiet opposite the crew areas. We were in room 8027 & had a lot of noise from above as carts were moved around the lido above us.

Helllo!!

If this is your first Cunard cruise this post might be of use to you... http://cruisingisntjustforoldpeople.co.uk/2016/11/06/8-things-you-should-know-before-cruising-with-cunard-2/

I was shocked by a lot of things on Cunard (like the dress code being ship wide after 6...) it was all very fancy! Bit too fancy for me if I'm honest. Just depends if you like that kind of stuff.

The Queen Victoria was a really beautiful ship though, tons of gorgeous paintings.

We were in a room opposite a crew part and didn't hear much noise at all :-)
