How to get internet package prior to cruise on Vista

We are on the 12/17/16 Vista 8 day sailing and want to get the Value (mid) level internet to stay in touch with family at home. We have seen a package price on the Carnival site of $16/day, and that there is a discount for taking the package for the entire cruise. We have been unable to find the total package price for the 8 day cruise. Also, can the package be purchased before the cruise at a lower price? Does anyone who's been on Vista recently know the price of the package for 8 days and how to buy the package before the cruise?

you can not as your order it on your device while onboard, only takes a few minutes. You go to your wireless setting click on Carnival and the price list comes up. I think it's $90 a week

I am interested in the Social package for $5 a day. It says you can do Whatsapp. Can you do Wechat and Viber on it?

Access to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Linkedin, Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp. Does not include access to other websites or apps.

Viber works as well. You also get access to airline apps.

 

You can pay for one plan and use it on multiple devices, but it can only be used on one at a time.
