Dedicated ports/terminals for ships?

Are there dedicated ports/terminals that ships go to in Grand Cayman? Or does it just depend on how many ships are there on that day? Reason I ask is because I need to meet with my excursion at the Royal Watler Terminal. I see there are two other terminals, North and South so I was just curious. I looked at a map and the 3 terminals are very close to one another so it's no big deal if I need to walk.

There are general patterns of use, but no guarantees. Sometimes they have to change at the last minute due to weather/waves.

 

Generally, if there are relatively few ships then they might all tender to Royal Watler Terminal as the first choice. YMMV. It is a short walk between the terminals, only a couple blocks.

Grand Cayman is a tender port. They don't have any piers for ships to dock. The only assignment is which dock the tenders stop at.

The ports are all just a few blocks from each other.

Our tender arrived at the South Terminal and we walked to the Royal Watler with ease.
