Aruba Dining and beaches

Hi, really need help. Leaving for 10 day cruise in March on the Adventure of the seas. We will be in port from 8 am to 10 pm, our first time in this port. We would like to possibly beach/shop during the day, return to ship, clean up and go back out to dinner.

2 big questions, what beach would you suggest and how to get there, we do not snorkel. And restaurants that are fun, possibly on the beach or beach view, with or without entertainment. Since this is our first time, that aren't to far from the cruise port. Don't want to miss the ship, lol.

We visit Chalet Suisse at least 1 time during our trips to Aruba. Great food and service. We have never been let down.

Last time at Chalet Suisse in Nov. 2016 was a letdown.
