Riviera Suites South Beach Miami

Can anyone give me information on the Riviera Suites? I booked through LMTClub earlier in the year and have seen the prices falling since then. The Riviera gets great reviews on TripAdvisor but compared to other hotels in the area the price is very cheap and I am concerned if the TA reviews are inaccurate and going on the theory there is no such thing as a free lunch! should I look for another hotel? I have searched this forum and drawn a blank so I am now worried that no CC persons have used this hotel.

I haven't stayed there but one of my good girlfriends did and loved the place. Great location.

Thanks BlueHeron, I can always cancel & rebook elsewhere but the price was good likewise the reviews and I don't want to throw the baby out with the bath water! We are staying for 3 days pre cruise and wanted somewhere SoBo area that was easy for the Port, we will not have a car and will use public transport to get around along with some walking, I was just a little concerned as there were no comments on CC which is always a reliable research source for my cruise planning.

Do know that you will get what you pay for in South Beach. If you are paying moderate prices, it will not be as nice as the Ritz Carlton.
