Question for anyone who has done Western Med cruise

We are planning to do the Western Mediterranean (7 nt aboard the Freedom out of Barcelona) later next year. Does anyone know which side of the ship we should choose for this one? Thanks!

I believe the preferable side is port, as you will go from Barcelona headed eastward towards France and Italy. The return is pretty much straight back across the Med.

WE had a aft cabin which I thought was perfect

Can only speak for Rome and Naples on that itinerary, would take the port side.

 

Rome you would be facing the water but more than likely you be off the ship all day and have the coast to look at on the way to Naples.

 

Naples in port it really doesn't matter on the sail away pass a mountain off the port.
