Morning in Miami

We will be departing from Miami in a few weeks and would like to spend the morning seeing some of the sights before we board the ship. We will be staying in the Brickell area the night before but arrive late. Any thought or suggestions? Thanks.

You can likely store your bags at the hotel and have time for one of the hop on/off bus tours of Miami and South Beach - if they do not pick up at your hotel an $8-10 Uber will get you to Bayside Market. After the tour return, collect your bags, and head to POM.

Brickell has a lot of night life, nice restaurants and lots of resendenta and tourists walking either night or morning, if you have the time in the morning a two decker bus will be a choice, if you are departing in a weekday count with lots of traffic and allow yourself extra time. Enjoy the nice weather and life of Miami !

Thanks for the good suggestions. As anxious as we will be to start our cruise, seeing a bit of Miami sounds like something we shouldn't pass up.

John's idea of the hop on hop off bus is what I'd choose. You can pick it up at Bayside Mall.

The bus will take you thru quite a bit of rhe area. You could get off in south beach for a nice stroll and people watching.

 

Too, at Bayside, you can pick up a water tour which is nice.
