Jezo Posted January 4, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 4, 2017 (edited) Can I put them in my small child's backpack to have at the port or are they also banned? What about if I buy them in the CVS in San Juan, would security let them back on board? Edited January 4, 2017 by Jezo
zqvol Posted January 4, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 4, 2017 I haven't seen this issue addressed, but the rule is no beverages may be brought on board the ship. Would they go so far as to enforce it for juice boxes? Probably because that could be an easy way to smuggle alcohol on board. Hopefully someone with experience can give you a better answer. ColinIllinois Posted January 4, 2017 #3 Share Posted January 4, 2017 Juices are also banned. It's pretty clear in NCL's policy: https://www.ncl.com/faq#can-i-bring-water-or-soda-board You can give it a shot but be prepared to be disappointed. It might depend on the age of the child but we just sailed the Breakaway with our 16 month old and they had no problem with us bringing on Juice and bottled water when we boarded in NYC and I always took it on and off the boat in ports (they never gave me a problem)
