Transferring an online booking to TA

Has anyone ever had problems transferring a booking made through the RCCL website to a TA after it was paid in full? Just booked on Friday evening for March 6th departure so had to pay in full. Decided to transfer to a TA since we were looking at adding another cruise right after and booking others for later in the year and thought it would be easier to coordinate through a TA. RC told TA she could not take it over since it was paid in full.

a booking may be transferred within 30 days of booking except:

not after final payment is due

not after the cruise is paid in full.

Correct...once inside final payment it can't be transferred. No reason to concern your yourself with coordination of this particular cruise...just have the TA book the future cruises for you...or if you decide to book a future cruise onboard make sure you transfer it within the 60 day window.

Sorry...incorrect info given by you...It's "60" days from the creation of the booking to transfer to a TA...when before final payment is required.

 

Don't want to confuse any one...right ;)

Thanks Steve. I was aware of the 60 day rule but not the paid in full. Will proceed as you suggested.
