FLL to MIA and MIA to FLL Help

We are cruising on the Equinox in April and will fly into FLL. We are staying at the Intercontinental Miami for 2 days pre cruise and cruising out of Port Everglades

 

Will need transportation from FLL airport to the hotel and from the hotel to Port Everglades.

 

What would you recommend?

FLL to the IC in downtown Miami will be about $75+ in a taxi or $40 in an Uber. For not much more than the cab fare you can probably arrange for private car service - check with Go Airport and Larry's Limos.

 

Same options will get you back from IC to PE.

 

You do not need or want a car in downtown Miami - plus the IC will charge you about $30/night for parking. :(

We prefer to fly into FLL even if we cruise out of Miami. We like the hotels and atmosphere better. Not as crazy :). We have used A.R.D. Express services, specifically aldorbelony@gmail.com. 954 822 2957. Awesome door to door service. Will even keep your bags if you want to go to the beach if you have a late return flight.

Its always Time vs Money!

 

If youre trying to save cash, you can take a shuttle from FLL to the train station and take the train to MIA and then a bus from there. Ive also taken a bus (or two) from FLL to SoBe.

If your flight into FLL arrives later in the afternoon or early evening you will find very few shared shuttle options available that late in the day - and those few still working (including Go Airport) will charge more.

Can you share the cost? Looking for a service to pick us up at port of Miami and maybe let us explore the beach a little bit before our return flight from FLL. Our return flight isn't until 6:30 pm

We fly into FLL and cruise out of Miami. We chose a hotel that had free airport shuttle and then we used SAS Transportation to get from the Miami port to the FLL airport. $13 pp and they are spot on with waiting on you at the pier and VERY fast at getting you to the airport.We will be using them again in June. Easy, reliable and inexpensive...exactly what we were looking for.
