polygamoose Posted January 9, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 9, 2017 Has anyone chartered a boat on Grand Cayman? There is a group of 10 (2 children 5/1) looking for a company to do a tour including stingrays, some snorkeling and some beach time; we would need a boat that has some shaded areas for the kids. I would like to keep it under 100pp. If anyone has used someone that they enjoyed please let me know.
rskater59 Posted January 11, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 11, 2017 Try Native Way. They have two different prices. 3-3.5 hours is $600.00. 5-5.5 hours is $750.00. Depends on what you want to do.
crossfitmama Posted January 12, 2017 #3 Share Posted January 12, 2017 You might want to check with https://grandcaymancruiseexcursions.com they have so many charter options. We did the Outrage tour with them for stingray city, starfish beach, snorkeling and tubing as well. It was a motor boat but they sailboats, and catamarans a well. Do they stop for food? Or should you eat before the excursion? Bev Edited January 14, 2017 by BeverlyS
cb at sea Posted January 14, 2017 #5 Share Posted January 14, 2017 Depending on the time and length of your excursion, you can head to 7 Mile Beach on your own...hop on the bus for the return to the tender. Very easy! The Seagrape beach area has food/drink, watersport rentals, restrooms, and chair/umbrella rentals! Perfect for families! The bus stops right on the road, within sight of the beach. $2.50 pp.
