Walking off the Ship at Each Port

We sail the Getaway in 2 weeks and will have 4 consecutive, non-tender port stops. When it comes time to leave the ship, is it absolute chaos? If so, is it better to line up early (before the doors are opened) or wait 30+ minutes for the masses to clear? We will not have any priority status for getting on/off the ship.

they tell people not to line up in the hallways/stairwell until the all clear call comes. that said, there are some who dont listen and line up anyway.

we never had difficulty getting off, only on tender ports but you said you dont have any so you should be ok.

I've never waited in a line to walk off the ship. We will usually watch them tie up, and then walk down. If you scope out the ship ahead of time, you can figure out the back ways to get to the gangway, avoiding people lined up on the main stairs. Quite often we are halfway down the pier, away from the ship, when we hear the announcement made that people can start leaving.
