That link doesn't work

Was hoping to get some feedback from recent sailings. I guess not many people are interested in the Empress.

Sorry, I guess the link times out.

We were on Empress recently! We enjoyed our trip! We chose this cruise for the itinerary! The ship is clean. Staff was friendly. The food was good. We ate breakfast in the main dining room. Enjoyed the brunches that they have. We relaxed. Entertainment was good. Down sides.. The casino is too warm. They have fans but not comfortable for long periods of time. The pool area is too small. I missed the morning shows that cruise directors have done on other cruises. We did miss the royal promenade! I would recommend the Empress of the seas if you are looking to relax. We enjoy cruising so we were very happy to be sailing... We also booked the owners suite aft! The room was awesome!

We sailed Empress the week of April 30. To add or clarify the above:

The brunch was nice - once, but we like table service on sea days on the dining room. The complimentary mimosas or bloody marys were a nice touch.

The casino was having the air conditioning fixed. It is reported to be fixed by late May. The reason the casino was closed on sea day mornings was to work on the system. You are right - TOO HOT!

We saw two or three cruise director/activity manager morning shows on TV.

The pool was small but there were plenty of chairs either around the pool or above. My main pool complaints was the lack of loungers in the shade. Plenty of shade - but all the shade areas had tables and chairs rather than loungers.

We knew the ship was older and smaller so we did not expected much. We were pleasantly surprised. What the ship lacks in size, it makes up with great staff and service.

We took our cruise for the Cuba stop and thought the staff did a great job of informing us of what we needed to know or have for Cuba.

We are sailing in July. I am not familiar with their brunch. Can you tell me more? I love brunch :D

We were also on the April 30th cruise, and I have posted a review. We had a lovely, relaxing time. I love the bells and whistles on the big ships but also enjoyed this smaller one. Be prepared for cabin shock, tho, very small, even compared to dear old Monarch. I hadn't cruised for 2 years and have wondered whether some of the changes I noticed are due to the size of the ship or overall cutbacks. Typically the service and staff were outstanding. Entertainment, except for one comedian , was good. The interior of the ship is lovely, more sophisticated than I thought. I hope they get a new lecturer. Cuba is the reason most people chose this cruise, but she was BOring in the extreme, very sad.

We were on the Empress for the April 30 sailing. Some might be remember me by making an appearance on stage with El Guacho during the 8:15PM show ;) I don't think we are allowed to share links, but if you search for Royal Caribbean Cuba Sailings on a famous social media site, there is a group of us fresh off the Empress who would love to help.

Where is your review posted? I cannot seem to find a couple of reviews that people said they have made.

I posted it yesterday. CC sent an e mail yesterday saying that it might day a few days to post on the site. :)

I notice there are not a whole lot of posts about the Empress. Hoping to get this thread going with info about the Empress. So those of you that have recently cruised on her, please share information.

We sailed the last week of March and I have posted a review on the "review site".

All things Empress

What pier/space does Empress dock at? Looks like RCCL uses both spaces 2 and 3.

On the 3/23 sailing, Empress was docked on Terminal G. When you get into port, there are signs that indicate which ship the terminal will be located
