looking to book repositioning from Newcastle on 18th sept before I reserve a cabin has anyone any comments or info regarding 711 and 716 outside cabins deck 2 they appear to be larger

Can't comment on these cabins but don't book the larger ones at the front of the ship. We had one allocated on deck 3 and thought it nice and spacious, 6am each morning we were woken with what sounded like the anchor being dropped just below us.

We were just in 707 and had problems with engine noise, air-con (lack of it), and sewage smells :(

Bow thruster operating maybe ?

 

Cabins 711 and 716 are well away from the engines and are a lot larger than normal. I would have thought they would already be taken.

 

Cabin 707 is back by the engine spaces so noisier.

as a group of 6 last July we had 648, 649 & 654. All on Deck 2 and handy for getting on and off easily. Pretty quiet and big enough for us. In fact, we've booked one of those for our next cruise.
