Breakaway out of New York in March

Thinking of cruising out of New York in March, what should I expect for weather?

 

We are going to Nassau and port Canaveral

Hi! Sorry I don't have any info for you, but my husband and I are cruising out of NYC the 5th of March and I was wondering the same!

We are on BA the 19th of March. We have cruised out of NY/NJ many times and had anything from 55 to 60 degrees to 18" of snow on the pool deck. As for the 5th of March I would plan for chilly weather. Then warming up by late afternoon the following day.

March is very nice in Bahamas. Beach weather. As for getting sick do you mean sea sick? Sea bands. CVS.

There can be some rough seas going out of NYC or coming back. If you are on Breakaway, you'll feel it less.

As noted, March is in the transient weather band for NY. Could be nice, could be a blizzard. We've had both. Layers are your friend when packing, you could leave and come back 30 degrees apart.

Pretty much could be anything but our trip it was cold about the 1.5 days out and back. The last day it rained the whole time but YMMV on that. We missed GSC on our trip so be aware that could happen.
