Has anyone heard anything about the changes that were supposed to happen in 2017

Since it will be 2017 until December 31, it is probably too early to hear of any.

But I didn't know there were supposed to definitely be changes this year.

I needed 3 nights to be platinum too. I wanted to hit that before my Epic cruise in February, so I hopped a quick 4 day on the Sky in December. I'm ready to try out platinum perks now. 😁

Congratulations! You will enjoy your platinum benefits on the Escape. Bag of laundry. Behind the Scenes tour (fun on the Escape). Dinner for 2 at Le Bistro (with wine).

There was a thread about it late last year.

I can't remember exactly what it involved, but it was more than the usual rumours.

Edit: Here's the link.

If you are bronze, do not get priority check in at pier? If so, what does that mean?

It means that there are four or five queues......eg Haven, Casino, Platinum/Gold, Bronze/Silver, Newbies, and you get to join the Bronze/Silver queue. Although its usually longer than the Newbies queue, so often quicker to join that one.
