Zip lines in Roatan- which is your favorite?

Hi all- We visited Roatan in October 2016 and did a private tour with Bodden going to the east end of the island past Mahogany Bay, then down to West Bay beach followed by a quick stop in West End village before returning to the ship.

We are returning to Roatan this upcoming October and want to try the zip lines this time with a few hours at the beach afterwards. It looks like our best options are either Jungle Top adventures or South Shore Canopy as both are located along the way to West Bay. Anyone with experience at both that can recommend one over the other, or are they more similar than different?

We used Jungle Top in 2016 and had a blast. The guides were really fun and encouraged everyone to participate at their own pace. On several occasions the guides would take our cameras and take photos of us on the lines. Our friends at dinner couldn't believe the photos we had from our adventure, they had booked a similar excursion through South Shore and had a good time but didn't have the pictures that our guides took.

Also the restaurant at the end of Jungle Top serves iguana and after talking to our guide, we tried it for lunch. Very good food.

We've done them both and enjoyed them fairly equally. We made a deal with a taxi driver to do a brief tour and ending up at South Shore which was nice trip so for that reason I think we'll go there again this summer. That being said, the views of the port are nice from Jungle Top are very nice, but there are also great views of the ocean from South Shore. The tree tops that you zipline from at South Shore gave it a but more of a sense of adventure imo. You can't go wrong at either place. I'd say since you want some beach time as well that you might want to do Jungle Top as they are right by the port and if I remember right South Shore was about 20 minutes away but again a nice drive.
