Have you gone from Hilton Miami Airport to Cruise Port?

We just booked a cruise on the Escape in July. We booked through AAA and I was told the Hotel is about 20 mins away from the cruise port, AFTER I booked the reservation. It didn't even cross my mind to ask, I guess I just figured the travel agent knew what to book.

 

Has any one stayed at the Hilton Airport? I called the hotel and they have a shuttle to the port for x amount of dollars, but they only leave at noon time.

 

I'm thinking of just getting an Uber or taxi to take use, so we can get there early. Has any one done this? What was your experience?

I was there last month and took uber (it was my first time to ever use it). I think it was $14 there. We ubered back to the hotel from the port and it was $17. Easy Peasy. The price was for me and a friend.

 

As a side note: I thought the buffet was expensive and did not eat there for breakfast. My friend did eat breakfast there and seemed to like it.

Cab from MIA area hotels to POM will run about $30 -- as mentioned above Uber will be about 1/2 of the taxi fare. Forget the overpriced shuttle.
