lettienets Posted January 24, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 24, 2017 Does anyone know if there is a shuttle that Norwegian uses to get passengers in to town? I don't know about a shuttle but I do know a couple of other bits of transport info. There is a city bus stop outside the gates and down the street. Not far to walk out of port area. It is a beautiful and clean port. Never seen a port like Helsinki. Another thing, you can get on hop on hop off busses right at the port in a parking lot if you want to tour around that way. Also, you can actually walk to the city. It is very easy. Takes 20 min to half hour. Follow the water or cut through a park. It is easy to see on your walk where to go. The tourism people give you a map right at the port. Sent from my BLU STUDIO 6.0 HD using Tapatalk
kitkat343 Posted January 24, 2017 #3 Share Posted January 24, 2017 NCL did not have any shuttles 2 years ago on the Baltic cruises but its worth checking with the excursion desk when you board.
Rare KeithJenner Posted January 24, 2017 #4 Share Posted January 24, 2017 There were no shuttle buses offered last year. We were going to walk in, but in the end decided to use the hop on hop off bus. I'm glad we did as it meant we got to see more of the city than we would have by walking. The route back, along the shoreline is very nice.

luv2gonow Posted January 24, 2017 #6 Share Posted January 24, 2017 We did the hop on hop off bus right. A stop was right at the port. We got off a few times, bus comes every 15-20 min. Very easy and effective way to see a few things in Helsinki. Happy planning Kerri
