Is Majesty retiring from Thomson this year?

Is Majesty retiring from Thomson this year? If so is it after the summer season?

Is this a bad point if booking for a cruise in late summer? eg maybe it won't be up to full standard as on run down?

Is the shop being retired totally or being sold to another cruise line?

I read sometime after Sep that it broke down, had a fire, and missed at least one stop off? What happens in this case for passengers etc?

Thanks

Majesty and Spirit are leased from Louis Lines Cyprus and are returning to them at the end of the summer season this year Why worry the ship can't depreciate that much in 5 months we're on Majesty in Sept to say goodbye

Returning to its parent company 'Louis' and will sail under their own flag after the Thomson lease finishes. We were on Majesty - our favourite Thomson ship up to now - in October and our waiters had already had their contracts confirmed for the post Thomson season.

We have been on The Majesty twice and loved the ship. Will the waiters/crew no longer be among TU/Thomson? I always find it such a warm welcome from most of them.

All the waiters and crew we spoke to in October were staying with Louis when the ship leaves the Thomson fleet. They would have to change agencies if they wished to move to another Thomson ship. Up to now Majesty has been our favourite Thomson ship and we are sad to see her, and her wonderful crew, leave.
