Halloween on board gem

Thinking of booking the Gem for a sailing that starts on 10/31. Wondering if/how does NCL celebrate Halloween on board?

I will be on that cruise as well for my honeymoon. I love Halloween so would love someone who has cruised before to let us know!

We are possibly planning to take this cruise also. Does the

Gem (or any NCL ships) decorate or have special entertainment for Halloween? Do any of the restaurants have special Halloween menus or treats?

My experience on the Sun on October 31, 2015 (11 day Mexican Riviera) was a costume contest around the pool where those of us who were dressed up (I have a very nice Frog Prince costume IMHO) were judged. I believe prizes were awarded to those lucky enough to have judged suitable. I was not and have carried that hurt on my warty frog back for several years. ;p We were asked to dance our way past the judges (who were crew members). I can't remember what the prizes were, particularly since I didn't get one.

 

I don't remember any special food offerings although there may have been some. Rib-bit.
