I'm concerned about how calm or rough the waters are in NCL's Hawaii cruise. I'm hoping since we aren't crossing the Pacific that the water should be fairly calm. I am afraid of rough seas so this is why I'm asking. Thanks all.

Will depend on the weather. You can bring Bonine or Dramamine Non-drowsy medicine just in case you develop motion sickness

Seas can be rough, any time, any location. It is not predictable. If you have a problem with sea sickness, you need to be prepared every day you are on a ship. This is not avoidable.

Definitely go to the pharmacy and get some Bonine (Meclazine is the drug name, Bonine is the most common brand.) Beyond that, ask your doctor for a prescription for Trans Derm Scops. You may not need to use them, but if there are high seas, they are a real godsend. If you don't have time to do that, the ships doctor will be able to help you should the Bonine fail.
