June 18 Equinox

Newbie here to CC.

First time Celebrity cruiser. Four of us. Two sons 15 & 12.

Several other cruises on RCCI and NCL. Disney once.

We splurged for a suite. Had regular balcony rooms before.

Just curious how this line compares to the others? We are quiet and not party types. We enjoy good food, spa days and relaxation. The boys are happy with a pool and not much else.

Advice, tips and suggestions appreciated.

We are very much looking forward to a new cruising experience.

Sounds like you will have a great time. Celebrity is much more quiet than RCL or NCL. The food in Luminae (the suite restaurant) is fantastic. You should enjoy the Persian Garden if you want peace and quiet. There are a couple of pools but there are no slides or any funs stuff like that. Just a pool. Make sure you take advantage of the suite perks like Michaels club, the Persian garden and of course Luminae (and your butler). The Sunset bar on the back of the ship is a great spot to hang out in the evening before dinner.

 

We are on 2 weeks before you, I will try not to drink all the wine:D
