torcruise Posted February 2, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 2, 2017 I'm going on my next cruise with just my 2 children, this time. I will most likely leave my youngest in the camp during dinner since he doesn't do well with long dinners. I'm not 100% sure if my oldest will want to join me each time in the dining room. Will they sit us or just myself with other people, or will I have to eat alone? I choose my time dining

cruzeluver Posted February 2, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 2, 2017 You can ask to be sat with others, no problem.
riffatsea Posted February 2, 2017 #4 Share Posted February 2, 2017 My time dining is like going to a restaurant on land. You go to the podium and tell them your cabin number and how many in your group. You can say you'd like to sit with just your children or you can ask to be seated with others. Sitting with others will depend on how many other people also choose to sit that way. You may well meet people on the ship who also have that sort of dining and you can arrange to meet them for dinner. It is up to you to decide where your oldest child eats so not "if he/she wants to" but what YOU want. It may be nice to have some time to chat if that child has been hanging with others the rest of the day.
