Yakb0 Posted February 3, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 3, 2017 Hi all, I'm looking to book a cruise this spring, and I was wondering what is currently the most effective way to go about this (this is a last minute trip so rescheduling, or repeated checking for price drops are not considerations) Last time, I used a site that aggregated offers from TAs, who generally returned similar prices, with varying amounts of OBC. Is that still a viable option? Also, there's a travel expo in town next weekend. Is it worth it to go talk to some of the agencies that have booths set up there, and see if their prices are comparable?
deliver42 Posted February 3, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 3, 2017 I would do a mock booking, then go to the travel show, and see what they are offering. Then you can compare. Just remember to do the same catagories.
39august Posted February 3, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 3, 2017 Yes, you can use the same site you used last time. That is a very good idea. The only way a travel agency would be able to offer lower prices than RCI is if they have booked a large number of cabins as a "group" rate.
