bigsky Posted February 4, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 4, 2017 Going to Bermuda to see the America's Cup (pro sailing) Will spend a few mornings a little in town before the events. Wondering what you recommend for people that love the beach. Any certain ones you like more than others? I saw a video about Seaglass beach...any good? Any suggestions greatly appreciated!! Worth bringing our snorkel gear?

dexddd Posted February 4, 2017 #4 Share Posted February 4, 2017 Go to the Ports of Call section for Bermuda and look there. SailBadTheSinner has a long list of things to do there.
buddyjo143 Posted February 4, 2017 #5 Share Posted February 4, 2017 Three trips. Two from Boston and one from NY. Each time we have gone to Horseshoe Bay Beach. Easy to travel by bus or cab. We take the bus out and cab back. The beach is easy to navigate. Has a snack bar, beach chairs, and umbrellas.

Worth bringing our snorkel gear? The Famous Horseshoe Bay Beach Is next to Mandatory for Bermuda cruiser's. Public Transportation is clean and safe in Bermuda. Do take the ferry to St. George. :D . MizDemeanor Posted February 4, 2017 #8 Share Posted February 4, 2017 There is not much shopping in Bermuda as there is on St Thomas or St Maarten for example. I agree about Horseshoe Bay, its a must do while there. If its easy enough to bring your snorkel and mask do so but there is not much to see off the beach. Transportation is easily available but note that it is expensive. At the pier there are wave runners for rent and that was a good time if you want to get out into the water.
