CruisingAmazona Posted February 6, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 6, 2017 Hoping someone knows the answer. I'm just curious. If a ship is docked at the Port of New Orleans for 2 nights/3 days (docked, as in a port of call, not for embarkation and disembarkation purposes), does the casino open at any time during the evenings like it normally would on any evening of the sailing? Or would we need to wait until after ship sails out of NOLA for casino to open?

When we cruise out of NOLA, the ships casino doesn't open until about a half hour after we sail-away. At that time we are still on the river. However, if you are docked there over night, Harrah's casino is just about two blocks from the port and would be an easy walk over to visit. It's an absolutely beautiful property as casinos go. The casino was closed.
