Ba' Datz Posted February 7, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 7, 2017 I have looked this up on the search but can't seem to find an answer. I am on a cruise from Sydney to Seattle which is listed as 22 nights which it is if you look at the calendar. Am I right is concluding that in reality there will only be 23 nights since we gain a day and the day for example after the crossing on Tuesday is Tuesday again? On a side thought how does the cruise line charge for gratuities? Is it 22 nights or 23?
chengkp75 Posted February 7, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 7, 2017 Yes, in your example, Tuesday will repeat, and your cruise will be 23 days long, though 6 of the days will be less than 23 hours. The line will charge for the calendar 22 days of service charge.
