Why are there never more than 15 of any cabin type available on NCL.com?

Recommended Posts

I've found that they usually give you a choice of the 15 least desirable cabins in any particular category, even if others are available... I usually call and inquire about other cabins and make my decision based on the cabins actually open.

That's kind of an upside down assessment.

Norwegian has a cabin rating system...that takes into account a variety of attributes, such as location, variations, etc.

Due to layout constraints on the website, they only show the best 15 available cabin numbers, based on that rating system.

If you see 15, that means there are more choices avail, but they will not show online.

If you see less than 15, that means they are the only choices left in that category.

The ability to search by cabin number has been removed from the retail website

An NCL Rep or your TA can view ALL available cabins at any time.

You used to get more on .co.uk and that was enough for a cabin watch.

They merged the web interface so now you have to find somewhere else to look for long cabin lists

try a few TA sites

I use one of the cabin clearance places that might be showing all of them, I stop counting at 80 cabins in a single grade.

As for some likely candidates

Star might be worth a watch the current problems may scare people off.

TAs and reloc's are often good late candidates.

The South America have been getting real cheap after final.

Another option is to use one of the price trackers sites and just look for all drops.

There is some silly high pricing out there across a lot of lines so it is a waiting game if flexible.
