Help! Is 1pm too early for flight out of Orlando after debark. in Port Canaveral?

Help!

Is 1pm too early for a flight leaving out fo Orlando after debarking in Port Canaveral?

 

I have never sailed from Port Canaveral so I am unfamiliar and am trying to help out some friends who have never cruised before.

1 PM is usually the cutoff on most of the cruises I've seen ... ie, don't book a flight before 1 PM. My last flight from MCO after a Port Canaveral cruise left at 12:55 and I made it with about an hour to spare. Keep in mind, however, that my ship was over 3 hours late pulling into the pier and I was one of the first people off of the ship.
