fishin' musician Posted February 23, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 23, 2017 Will there be tendering operations that evening? Or, do they park, sleep and start schlepping people ashore the following day?
Misty Morning Posted February 25, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 25, 2017 They should run tenders until midnight at least Sent from my iPad using Forums
6rugrats Posted February 25, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 25, 2017 I can't imagine they'd do this so late at night.
SMNYCruise Posted February 25, 2017 #4 Share Posted February 25, 2017 We took the tender back from Foxy's at 11pm on our recent Windsurf cruise. I think the last tender was at 11:45pm. It was really fun going ashore after dinner. Don't think a large cruise ship would do this. One of the great things about Windstar!
Misty Morning Posted February 25, 2017 #5 Share Posted February 25, 2017 Same here, we went to Foxy's after dinner and took tender at midnight last year on the Surf Sent from my iPad using Forums
kcparrothead Posted March 13, 2017 #6 Share Posted March 13, 2017 We are on the Legend in 10 days and we arrive at Jost at 8am and depart at midnight. Are you sure it says you arrive in the PM?
Misty Morning Posted March 14, 2017 #7 Share Posted March 14, 2017 The Legend, unlike the Windsurf, arrives at 8am and leaves at midnight that night. They will probably run tenders til 11pm so you would have time to go to Foxy's, and given the sail to Virgin Gorda is only three hours, they may leave later than midnight. fishin' musician Posted March 14, 2017 Author #8 Share Posted March 14, 2017 The itinerary has us departing Prickly Pear Island at 5pm and arriving Jost Van Dyke at 9pm.
Misty Morning Posted March 14, 2017 #9 Share Posted March 14, 2017 Fishin Musician I guess you are on the April 1st cruise with that schedule. You will arrive in JVD at 9pm from VG (only a 3 hour sail) and they will run tenders to midnight so you can go to Foxy's that night. The ship will be anchored overnight in JVD and will only leave the next day at 5PM, meaning you can spend the whole day in JVD (Soggy Dollar Bar). Have fun. The BVI's are great
fishin' musician Posted March 14, 2017 Author #10 Share Posted March 14, 2017 Thanks! Yes, BVI are great, DW and I spent 8 days island hopping and hitchhiking around Tortola in 2015.
