Mrs.C05 Posted February 23, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 23, 2017 Just wanted to post pics of our recent visit to Cabbage Beach in Nassau. It's on the back side of Atlantis. It looks kinda sketchy walking to it but a simply no thanks will do to the peopke asking if you'd like an umbrella/chair set up. BethV114 Posted February 23, 2017 #4 Share Posted February 23, 2017 Looks like a lovely beach. A few quick questions. About how long of a walk is it from the pier? Do you recall how much it costs to rent chairs/umbrellas? Are there any restrooms/facilities there? Can you purchase food/drinks there? We are in port from 12pm-6pm and looking for a budget and kid friendly option. The kids really just want to spend the afternoon at a beach, but I know they (and the adults) will get thirsty and likely hungry, as well! Thank you! SweetPea0517 Posted February 23, 2017 #5 Share Posted February 23, 2017 Was the water warm enough to swim? Great pics! Sent from my iPad using Forums

Mrs.C05 Posted February 24, 2017 Author #7 Share Posted February 24, 2017 10/15 minute cab ride, no restrooms, water can be rough. Yes I agree with this. The water can be rough (looked rough) but it was too cold to get in. No restrooms though so if you go here, get a day pass at Comfort Inn. Rare CruisinCrow Posted February 24, 2017 #8 Share Posted February 24, 2017 About how long of a walk is it from the pier? It's about 2 and a half miles away from port. I wouldn't walk it but it's an easy taxi ride at $4 a person (plus tip). No bathrooms.
