NCL and Cruise Critic

When the Star was adrift off Australia, a concerned relative not on the cruise tweeted NCL and received no reply - until a subsequent tweet to Cruise Critic was shortly followed by one from NCL.

Coincidence or the power of Cruise Critic?

NCL monitors CC I feel sure. Why else would they be happy for CC people to have M&Gs where they provide the food and drink and the officers are happy to attend. If you attend one then you get a list of the senior staff with their phone numbers and instructions to call if they can help. A win-win situation as CCs tend to give feedback while on board which the crew are good at acting on.
