DarlingandtheGerman Posted February 24, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 24, 2017 Hey cruisers! My husband and I are wanting to go on a cruise for our one year anniversary at the end of May. We've been researching ships and trips and prices, but we weren't sure on what the best way to book was. Is it best to book through the cruise website? (We're looking at Royal Carribean). Through a travel agent? Through Expedia, etc? What's the best way to get the greatest deal? Thanks in advance for your help!
Clarea Posted February 24, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 24, 2017 Welcome to Cruise Critic. There is no universal "best" way to book. Travel agents are supposed to have the same prices as the RC website, but sometimes they have reserved group space at earlier lower prices. janetz Posted February 24, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 24, 2017 You can go to the top of the page to "Find a Cruise" and go from there. Read all fine print.:)
space_bar Posted March 7, 2017 #4 Share Posted March 7, 2017 We booked with a travel agent and got a couple extra perks for being repeat customers. One perk is a free 1 night hotel before our cruise. Krazy Kruizers Posted March 7, 2017 #5 Share Posted March 7, 2017 OP Welcome to Cruise Critic. We prefer to book through a TA -- extra perks. Also if we have any problems, we can call our TA and talk to her and get things straightened out right away.
