Shuttle service

We ended up taking a taxi van. That might be a good option for you. It was $75 before tip. We had some difficulties nailing down a shuttle service, due to the time of our incoming flight and the location of our hotel. (5pm and headed to South Beach) Other people find renting a car is a more cost effective option for a larger group and drop it at MIA, then take the free shuttle to port.

SAS is a great service we have used to get from FLL airport to Miami hotel. The fee was $13 to $15 a person. We have also used an Uber which was around $35 to $40 I believe, just have to make sure you get one that can fit all your luggage ;p

SAS is great, but watch your arrival times. It's $15 pp, so with 6 of you a large uber/lyft is a better option in terms of price. Careful with this also, as twice Uber has been banned from FLL airport. They have been operating consistently for the last few years from FLL, but Uber a heavily debated political topic in Dade/Broward counties.

Another vote for SAS. We have used them twice so far and have them booked for our cruise in June. We have 5 in our group (2 adults and 3 kids). On the site, the price is $13 per person for 5 or more. We chose this over an Uber because we want to make sure our luggage would fit without a problem.

They only pick up from certain hotels in Fort Lauderdale, so be sure to check the list on the site. Other than that, they were great the last couple times we used them. Very prompt reply through email, on time for pick-up and friendly drivers.
