Kids week before Easter?

I'm wondering if there will be a lot of kids on a cruise the week before Easter? I'm thinking if cruising on April 9th, cruise returns before Easter Sunday.

There's really no way to predict this with any accuracy. If you really want to limit the number of kids on your cruise go on HAL or Celebrity or one of the luxury lines like Regent, Crystal, etc.

depends...what cruise line and where it cruises from..

our school shows spring break on 10-14 .. so NY will be out there :)

I would say it will have enough kids, it will be vacation week at NY and probably other states, so unless plane tickets are crazy - people will travel..

Some schools break the week prior, some break the week after....so there WILL be plenty of kids.

We are off Good Friday thru the entire following week and taking a 10 day cruise leaving on Good Friday

That is during spring break, schools split it up starting in mid March to mid April, I have found the best way to avoid kids is go the last week of April to the end of May or mid September to mid November and take cruises longer than 7 days. To make your chances even better take Celebrity, They don't cater so much to families and are still affordable unlike others like Oceania.

Are you limited to that week or can you go anytime you want? I agree with the previous poster who said late April thru the week prior to Memorial Day, or wait till September.
