Dawn MDR Large Table Question

When you get on board the ship check with the MDR Matri 'D for organizing your dining setting.

As you descend the stairway from deck 7 to the MDR on deck 6 there are areas both left and right

that are suitable for large parties to dine together. Toward the stern of the ship more open areas

are available. More in likely NCL will put either 3 tables of 4 together or they might be able to

fit you in one of the round tables for 8. I have seen parties of 20 have a row of tables 5x4.

The other MDR (Aqua) is not so accommodating for groups although an area port side forward

and adjacent to Le Bistro is a possibility.

I don't speak highly of this area as it is very dark and lacks the ambiance the more open lighted

dining in the Venetian.

The food service meals in the Venetian MDR are served up from the same galley that is between

the two MDRs. Both of these MDRs are a problem for wheelchair scooter special needs folks as

you need elevator service to go down one deck:

For the Venetian aft MDR go aft to the Spinnaker Lounge (deck 7 Promenade) and take the

elevator down one floor.

For the Aqua mid-ship MDR use the elevators closest to the Atrium and go down one floor -or-

the Theatre elevators forward going through the smoky casino past Gatsby Bar Le Bistro and

il Cucina - passageway.

In any event to work your party in for a dining event when you get on board go directly to the

restaurant and discuss the arrangements directly with them - if you go to the Dinner Reservations

Desk next to Guest Relations in the Atrium they can help but normally there is line of folks making

reservations for all restaurant venues on the ship.

Another thought if you are planning these dining events later in the ship's travels and you go to our CC

Meet & Greet meeting - talk directly with the Hotel Director putting the meeting on for assistance.

You are assured of getting pretty much whatever you need that way. Be flexible in the time arrangements

you may have better luck doing dinner while the main show is on in the theatre - dinner and show is

quite a popular concept - work around that for a better group seating.

Good Luck and bon Appetite !
