We had 300 OBC from X and then cashed in points for another 150 OBC via that X Credit Card, so I called X for my invoice to make sure it got added it looks like it totals 450 like it should but nothing is easy on X. Does the chart below mean we have the proper 450 in OBC ?

Onboard Credits - Currency Guest #1 Guest #2 Total

USD 75.00 75.00 150.00

150.00 150.00 300.00

Looks like you have two sets of credits: one set for $150 pp and the other for $75 pp. Altogether, that gives you a total OBC of $450 for the cabin. Is that the amount you are looking to confirm?

Yes, thats correct.

top 75 (guest 1) and 75 (guest 2) =150.

Then 150 (guest 1) and 150 (guest 2) =300. Total both together you get 450

Thats X's way of breaking up the different types of OBC. Its confusing, but you're spot on.

Have fun!

Make sure to check your on board account to be sure that there are charges against both folio numbers, or that both guests accounts are merged. We once had a situation where all of the obc was on my folio and all of the charges were on my DH's folio. Guest Relations had to merge the accounts, otherwise we might have had a charge on our credit card and a lost obc. Not fun sorting that out once home I'm sure.
