snorkling

You have to book an excursion. There is zero snorkeling in the port, no beach either. The outer islands are the place you want to go. Dozens of excursions through your ship or private companies. You have to take a boat regardless.

Thanks, does anyone have names of the excursions or a company to use.

We will be traveling with an 8 yr old who loves to snorkel, Would like some recommendations.

Visited there last year. Used "Coral Breeze" tour service and were very satisfied. Did the Snorkel and Caye Caulker tour. It was a 45min boat ride out to Caye Caulker. Once there we went out to the reef and had an awesome tour. Many fish and great coral. We then went in for a meal on the island. Afterwards we made it back to the tender pier with plenty of time to spare. Ck for reviews on the tour and have a great trip!
