shows on Escape

Friends were on the Escape when it first started sailing.

 

You had to pay for all the good shows.

 

Is that still the case, and if so what is the average price for the shows.

You never had to pay for all the "good " shows. Only show you had to pay for is whatever they are doing down in the cabaret theater ...early on they had the Brat Pack down there ...now that has moved on to the regular theater...and now they seem to alternate between cabaret shows ...Singers ...magicians for the dinner theater for a price .... there are very good shows in the regular theater.... the Brat Pack... After Midnight...and I'm not sure if Burn the Floor for is still there...all free. Also there's the comedy shows and dueling pianos...also free but you need to get reservations for the comedy shows when you get on board

The two main shows on the NCL Escape are "After Midnight ", and "For the Record, the Brat Pack". Both of these shows in the main theater are free, but you should reserve seating as soon as you book your cruise, as seating fills up fast.

You never had to pay for the "good shows". The Broadway shows in the main theater, For the Record: The Brat Pack and After Midnight are complimentary. The rotating shows with guest performers in the Supper Club are complimentary. The comedy shows in Headliners are free. Howl at the Moon in Headliners is complimentary (some include a complimentary dinner). The only paid entertainment is Wine Lovers the Musical which is a lunchtime musical that includes wine tasting of six different wines ($25 pp). And they sometimes offer a single showing of a paid cabaret show with a special 5-course gourmet tasting menu. Those are the only two opportunities (if offered) that would cost you anything.

Spoke to the people who were on Escape when it first started sailing, and relayed them the info.

 

They said that there were machines, that you put your card in, and you paid for the shows. Was usally about $12.50 per show.

 

So I guess that did not go well, and they changed. They were on the first sailing of the NCL Escape.
