I want to do a live review...

Hi everyone!

I am sailing on Escape October 14th (yes, I know I have a long ways to go) and I am thinking about doing a live review while onboard. They look so much fun! But how does one upload pictures without going through a site like photo bucket and they show up? Is it easier from a phone or a tablet to just upload a picture?

Just trying to prepare myself before it gets here. I'd hate to upload each picture to photo bucket then turn around and upload them here.

Any help would be appreciated.

I can't help with technical issues, but maybe the all time heavyweight champion of live reviews (TheDougOut) will see this thread and lead you in the right direction... I believe he did it entirely from his phone, and utilized a photo sizing app to upload directly to Cruise Critic.

Well hopefully someone who has done a live review will see this. Lol. I think I read somewhere that someone did a live review from an iPad and just uploaded pictures directly from that. Who knows. Haha.

You no longer need to use a separate image resizing app, as the CruiseCritic app now allows you to choose an image size when you upload it.

 

If you don't have it already, I suggest you start by downloading the app. There's also a thread over in the photograph section for helping people trying to post photos (start at the end, more relevant recent info)...
